No good accommodation available at Kemmangundi except for the Horticulture Department's Guest House. Even this has to be booked in advance. Other options to stay is Chikkamagaluru which has very good hotels. Food also not great, the Horticulture dept's canteen is the only eating joint, that too they have specified timings after which you don't get any food. So better to pack the food while going to this place.
